What the company has told us is the suite of chemicals produced from their VBC in very precise detail as per the first link you provided, which was used by Duncan Seddon in his report:

Dated 7 April 2016, so it is pretty current.

Which has no vanillic acid, which could be reacted with the ethyl alcohol to produce ethyl vanillate, nor any pHB or chemical in any quantity that could be used to manufacture pHB.
I don't think many of those chemicals in the mix, while they are all oxygenated and will burn, would make good oxygenated fuels. Nor, as far as I can determine, do most of them look like precursors for plastics.

Which leaves humid/fulvic acid mimics, and mould for biodiesel. As I said in another post, if you want CTL then you don't start by oxygenating the carbon, then growing mould on the products, extracting the lipids, reacting them with methyl or ethyl alcohol in the presence of a catalyst (usually NaOH) and finally purifying the product (as well as working out what to do with the waste product, glycerol). IMO it would be much more efficient to use conventional CTL technology, which GPP looked at a few years back.

So it looks like the bio-stimulant is the main go ATM. It all seems to be in the announcements. Why waste the company's time?
