Looks like they have been using Integra in these initial studies as the matrix of chioce. One advantage of BTM is the chance of infection and therefore the need to remove it will likely be lower than Integra due to Integra's biological composition.
At present it also looks like it still takes them 18 days to 'grow' the cells required. This is about the same time as Greenwoods method. What to they do in the interim?..18 days is a long time to have open wounds. With the Greenwood method BTM 'seals' the wound in the interim. How much more quickly can they get these cells to grow?
Monash are aiming for the stars and agree with Jev that they have a long way to go. If they get there it will be a massive leap forward in wound healing.
