Announcement out. Busines strong, expecting profit to be up 8% before provisions.
EPS for 2008 though expected to fall 20% to 25% from impact of provisions.
Looks pretty mixed bag to me.
I wouldn't be betting we're gonna see much capital gains on banking stocks in short term. Some investors will probably just be happy to invest for dividends though.
