Well that was an unexpected day. I never get too worried when the price of my investments fall for no discernible reason. People say markets are rational, but markets are simply a collection of the participants, and those participants are people, and people can most certainly be irrational.
I guess markets are rational over time is more correct.
Anyway, 994 transactions listed on the course of sales for a total volume of 25,129,752 with a value of $3,160,417.90 executed today.
The VWAP was 12.6c.
531 of those transactions were on the CXA and 462 were on the ASX, although the total value of the transactions was slightly higher on the ASX. VWAP for the CXA was .125 and .126 for the ASX so the closing price was a pretty good reflection of todays trading.
Now could everyone start behaving rationally, this is putting a significant dent in my portfolio numbers.
