Ha, that was one of the more obvious SP manipulations on close - I hope the ASX consider that the solitary share traded (for no other reason than to drop the closing price) added to the volume for EXR - or however they justify that type of thing. But I suppose complaining about it is like politicians complaining about the media - boring.

Anyway - as always, the closing price represented nothing and what we had today was another solid day of trading where the share price held firm. Low volume again, just under 2.5 million shares traded for a total value of $344,697 and a VWAP of 14.2c, which is an increase on the VWAP of 14c from yesterday - so the average price paid for a piece of EXR was in fact a 1.43% increase today.

14.2c is also an increase of 2.16% on the VWAP from last weeks trade.

So, ignore the manipulated closing price and focus on the strong consolidation (an small increases) as we wait for more news.
