I did it while living o/s & when travelling but I always used my laptop when travelling. May sound overly cautious but I never quite trusted my passwords in some areas. Never had a problem using hotel connections & plugged in at times at IT cafes. Guess it depends on the amount of money you have in ac & how paranoid you are :)
