Ummm if anything that would have the opposite effect as it is increasing supply.
I find it very difficult to believe that somebody is stupid enough to think that the market will meet them on that offer given the oversupply.

Looks fishy to me. Maybe somebody inside should take out their offer in one fell swoop and show the market what they think of the absurd level of the SLR share price relative to the valuation given on TRY,KCN,AVO,SBM,IGR to name but a few.
Not to say that the latter are overvalued but to say that the former is, relatively speaking, way underpriced.
