I don't think the TBI/concussion thing is dead yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they somehow merged them into one trial, using what they have learnt so far in retts/fx/intrepid and be a lot smarter on trial design/dosing. I would have a lot more faith in a good result second time around with this current team designing it all as opposed what was done in 2009.
assuming one small issue is sorted out - who/how it is funded.
