Seen it too often where they start to see the funds of the company as their own personal kitty and they start to find ways to find ways to reward themselves before the deal and isolate their payday from any downsides. Just wait for the last minute consultants and Board hires and odd share issues to signify the train is really coming in.
If I was Killian I'd be pretty annoyed with my 2 companions Ross & Stew since he had the foresight to protect the company's financial integrity and got off his duff to fund conversion via his own means.
