Historically most fertiliser prices (including potash) have collapsed as quickly as they have risen in previous price spikes. This is attributed to farmers significantly reducing their fertiliser needs (especially potash) when prices are high. Will this time be any different, or will prices be back to 'normal' levels by the time APC is producing in late 2024? It seems unfortunate that the entire W.A. brine industry may miss this once in a decade opportunity.
