Agreed Siameseparrot. But for my own whing. Why do they get a trading halt to do the book build? All the information is out apart from the uptake of the rights issue and that is surely not enough to stop a share trading when its underwritten anyway?
This trading halt stuff is very much Australian and sometimes I can see the point but not here. Its really just helping the underwritter who doesn't have to try and place stock when it may be falling on the screens.
Am I missing something on that?
