Taurisk
Hi Taurisk,
Very best wishes for sorting out personal probs very soon.
If I realize my plans for a third round Australia trip next year, will
there be a possibility to visit you in WA for a coffee and a review of world affairs?
I also noticed your poetry contribution on the other thread and would like to join with:
A Leaf,..
I saw a falling leaf today,
unwanted, autumn curly stray,
that fell right under as I walked.
And I imagined it has groaned
and heaved last breath onto the mound,
as foot pressed hard into the ground.
What ignominious an end
for something wonderful that has
shone wondrous images Sun spilled
off surface green with lustrous sheen.
Sang joyfully with brother Leaf,
to send me messages from Wind;
rustling of which in long passed bliss
I much enjoyed while laying still.
Perhaps, while still clung to the top,
you felt a tiny bit like snob;
surveying human living throb,
milling in seeming stark **.
Some young and old sitting on benches,
tearing your brethren off lower branches.
With smug relief you’d feel it fair
to soar above the human dare.
My Friend, I too am like a Leaf;
rustling with Fear instead of Wind.
Clinging to Life’s Tree, close to Sky,
dreading to wither, wilt and die.
Filling those skies with loud cheer,
pushing away, what still is near.
Awaiting that moment of no sound,
when, we both meet down on the ground.

That's just my take on Life and not meant to arouse
conflicting feelings of any sort.
Hoping this may be put to music one day;
this comment may help to keep this post in the
'on topic' category.
Hope to continue this useful banter,
Cheers,
