actually, Yvonne Margarula has presided over an ambitious financial independence program. GAC are not just saying no, they're setting themselves up to be financially independent of mining.
As for education, GAC are investing in their own infrastructure to ensure that the next generation are well educated, while staying in touch with their culture.
I can understand why you might disagree with her position on the mine, but your suggestions about keeping her people dependent and ignorant couldn't be more rong.
