Does anyone know if the police send a traffic infringement notice to an old address what happens
For example if the person at your old address just returns to sender with wrong address on it
I remember people used to get out of it that way
but I also remember something about the cops having the law changed so it does not work anymore
- my licence has my new address on a sticker on the back
Thanks in advance
PS moral of the story - if a cop is tailing you slow up and let him tail someone else. They like to pressure you until you stuff up. I lost concentration listening to the cricket and forgot about a pm-only-transit lane (one that no-one takes any notice of). It was more packed than the other lane and I would have changed lanes if the cop hadn't been tailing me.
