I haven't seen all the reports about this, however what I read was the woman got out of the car and was yelling,
"He poured petrol on me".
It sounds suss to me. That's not what one would yell in that scenario, she'd yell, "my kids, help" or something like that. However if you were to premeditate an attack and try make it look like the other person was the perpetrator, then you'd yell, "he poured petrol on me".
Again I don't know what happened, just speculation.
