That's a good question.
The latest trial is just for 5 to 15 year olds.
If it were to be tested on 2 year olds there are a couple of things that can guard against that. One is the placebo arm, but also subjects are tested for a while post drug, so as to see if there is a regression then.
If however a very young child was kind of reprogrammed in a way by the drug, then regression may not happen (a lovely thought). But this would show up compared to the placebo arm in a larger study hopefully.
