Weebit Nano Executive Director and Head of R&D Dr Yoav Nissan-Cohen, was the CEO of one of these, Tower Semiconductors (NASDAQ listed US$1.9 billion market cap) for nine years.
He was also involved in the start-up non-volatile memory company Saifun Semiconductor which was sold to Spansion in 2008.
On a slightly different subject, it is interesting that Weebit Nano has already built a neuromorphic "brain chip" in a recent collaboration with Polimi (Italian semi research institute). Obviously earlier stage than BRN, but in theory same competitive space.
