wells in block A are producing as follows.. one is open hole (baker 1) and one is cased and cemented and had 2 fracc operations done, both failed with a screenout, and an acid wash was done on it and it came back big time (kunde 3)

In Block A, there has been much more activity. Prior to being stimulated, TCEI JV Block A-1 produced the equivalent of 2 million cubic feet of gas per day. About 900ft of the 2,500ft horizontal section was subsequently fracture stimulated, boosting the flow to the equivalent of 12 million cubic feet per day.

Baker 1
TCEI JV Block A-3, another horizontal well, produced the equivalent of 7.8 million cubic feet of gas per day without being stimulated. Both A-1 and A-3 are targeting the upper of the three pay zones and both returned a high percentage of condensate when tested.


now baker 1 had the heaviest mud thrown at it, they practically launched the rig to the moon one night without clearance from nasa.. and they never have not removed the mud that was in the hole at all, they did a quick flow test and it has flowed with the mud in the hole at 7.8 mmcfpd
just imagine if they cleaned that one up and prepared it so it can produce!!

kunde 3 is in the chalks, is producing with that well being completed in a totally unfavourable way for chalks wells to have any adequate connectivity to the formation.

i am not guessing what kowalik can do, but it had 50 foot flares through the drilling and constantly wanted to produce throughout the drill.. all wells in block A that conocophillips drilled reported similar things during the drilling..

as for the sp.. adi have news to release on kowalik, on indonesia and on yemen.. perhaps look at the start of this thread at the broker report, its a good guide imho
