Yes Rocky Mountaineer they call it these days... in the old days it was just a normal passenger train and the fares were cheap. A little more luxury these days I believe.
The train is a great way to see things, but it is always best to hop off the train and do your own exploring. Some of the most magnificent country is in the south-east corner of BC off the main tourist trails.
