I think it is just a matter of perspective, context and relativity. The XVD is not going to be perfect in its current version with no disadvantage.

The XVD scanner however would be relatively better than CT scanners and X-Ray machines in regards to:
- children moving around (relatively easier than the other two modalities; maybe not perfect) and no need to hold breath;
- radiation dose - this is the main factor children are less able to get chest CT / X-rays. Our scanner will be low dose relative to CT / X-Ray with a “vision towards zero dose.”
- higher throughout - our scanner will be faster so patients don’t have to sit or lie still for too long.
