When a site onboards XV LVAS someone from 4D (Hailey) shows them how to setup the x-ray (5 scans at 5 different angles iirc) and is present for the first patient scan. To generate the report, the patient also needs to have previously had a CT Scan. If they don't have a CT Scan on record or there has been structural changes to the lungs they need to get a new CT Scan. The XV LVAS ventilation report gets sent directly to the pulmonologist. The Pulmonologist has instructional documents explaining how to interpret the Regional Ventilation Visualization, Tidal Volume, Ventilation Heterogeneity etc
