Does not mean that if one takes the view that by participating in a war you make yourself vulnerable to the violence of that war that you either support whats happened or are against it. every heard of the term neutral?

Lets discuss the situation without the generalisaitons. Let the US, Spain Britain and Australia generalise. Equally if the Spaniards did not see fit to get onto the streets and condemn their governments support of invading Iraq and support for Pinochette, Samosa, galtierri and other butchers they would not be reaping the fruits of their silence.
