I don't see the logic to conclude Rudd is a traitor.
And if US history is an indicator of intentions, then Cold Wars and Hot Wars are not an anathema to its thinking.
Likewise Chinese did play war with Korea and Vietnam wars. And like they did in the Vietnam war the Russians are in the mix too, making sure China doesn't expand its borders using companies like Repsol to stare down the contested oil fields and threats to Vietnam's naval bases on the Spratly Islands.
