Tranada would be getting a commission for referred business/volume to mint. the main benefit mint can provide in travel is the transfer of $0.25 (or it could be 25bp) to an insurance scheme to protect travel agents from supplier default. there are only a handful of providers that can do it including: travelPay, fat zebra, FDI and mint. AFTA's website lists them I believe.
