Sounds like a good idea. I don't see any harm in it. If it's just 1 or 2 stocks in each company and are stocks that range between cents and dollars in value. 100 shares wouldn't even work out to have cost $100 or so. Why would anyone pay so much for brokerage to sell the shares, if there is no SPP and the share only cost you say a few cents or dollars, who cares just leave it never sell it, def not worth paying brokerage to sell
