The bank cheque sounds the simplest, but i think it has to then be sent back to the UK from her bank here for authentification...lolol

Apparently theres some downside with electronic bank transfers,not sure , rip off fees or whatever.

What she doesnt want is one of those currency rorts like a certain currency changer you see at airports who would make a mafia fence look honest.

I agree re the amount , i know over 10,000 sent out of country draws attention, wasnt sure about incoming funds. Not sure what UK laws are regarding sending sizeable amounts out of the country either.

May have to do more research both ends of the system. Dont want to give the taxman any bullsh!t technicality to get their clutches on her hard earned.

I was just really throwing the query into the ring to see if anyone had already gone through the motions.
