Transferring personal ( not Company ) shares into a SMSF
Have read the previous posts on this matter but they
seem to be more about transferring company shares
My partner and I are setting up an SMSF at the moment and
keep getting told different stories about what forms I need
to use to move shares in our names (joint and individual)
into our SMSF
We have shares with Computershare and Link and I have
consolidated ,changed names etc with both of these companies.
All names etc are fictional but similar
Stiv R Smith 26,000 NNN.AX
Jill S Smith. 26,000 NNN.AX
Stiv R Smith & Jill S Smith.. 18,000 NNN.AX
Stiv R Smith & Jill S Smith 200,000 AAA.AX
All of these are to go into the
S R Smith & J S Smith SMSF
I have been told 3 different stories which is the correct form to do this transfer
Off Market Transfer Form
Standard Transfer Form
Name Correction Request and Indemnity (Link)
and add S R Smith & J S Smith SMSF
to the < Account Designation >
Change of Account Designation (Computershare)
and add S R Smith & J S Smith SMSF
to the < New Account Designation >
Thanks in advance
