It seemed logical to follow the procedure to transfer the funds into my SMSF bank account, but the question nagged at me. Where there any implications that could be expected by going down the other path. By asking the question I could have discovered information that I had not contemplated.
I thank you all for your responses. I will choose to keep my my procedures clean and transparent and follow your suggestions.
