So far no revenue has been raised from listing on the rent.com.au website, all revenue has been from advertising on the site and from add-on products.
Revenue from listings begins now through a "Smart Plan" being implemented.
Basically landlords/agents can continue with a basic free listing, or upgrade to a premium listing. A fee is only charged ($75 per transaction) if the landlord/agent finds a tenant through rent.com.au...
It's a start, but should make a good difference to revenues off a low base, will find out how much difference next quarterly.
