ndl, it would surprise me to close near its high at COT, internally the mornings setup was at a ST supply trap.
With the morning action it opened with high volume, breaks down a fraction, but returns to a new intraday high again on high volume, breaks just a tad but third movement north was on virtually no volume ie. no demand (late buyers) after supply (those early HV areas)
The early morning movement was most probably aimed at taking out any nervous ST shorts and grabbing a few ST buyers, both of whom appear at this stage to have got it wrong. love these announcements hey
