I think Chimera hit the nail on the head Hairy with how the old portfolio looks with so many loosing stocks on his books.

I think just about any fund manager would probably do similar at tax time and take the loss.

Interestingly he did say in this weeks report that the stops are only there as a guide and its very much your own decision to buy/sell.

As a holder of CCC and a subscriber to the report I just thought it a bit odd that after sending him an email re the possible developments hidden in the GM notice that he would suddenly put the stop on it.

Not to worry Hairy, we're digressing a bit from the Transnet/allocation issue which is a big factor in CCC realising their export plans.

I know there will be at least one holder asking questions along these lines at the GM,amongst others if needs be.

It looks like from these article though that it may be a couple of months before there might be resolution on these allocations.In all honesty though this probably suits CCC as they wont require the higher allocations till later next year once Penumbra, and hopefully DeWitt, are cranking up.
