most professionals overanalyze, I read the financial statements and listen to the earnings call. Because I own the stock I am positively biased.
I owned this stock all through last year when everyone was sure it would go bankrupt, that helps test your conviction and thesis.
Investing is hard because most people like to go with the flow, to outperform you must think differently, be correct and always be prepared to change your mind - constantly looking for disconfirming evidence.
