no, I am pretty far out there politically. If people are comfortable financially then they don't like to give that up.

I am probably the only extreme greenie invested in offshore drilling but there is no conflict in my approach. I don't have a say in Transocean's actions and my purchases don't influence the company's solvency as I am too small.

Bankruptcy wouldn't mean Transocean's drillships all disappear - it means reallocation of assets. They would be used elsewhere.

Jeremy Thigpen seems to have pulled through the unprecedented decline in oil consumption without shareholder help - a huge tick in his favour.

Thing is if the capitalists create too many have-nots then things are strained and with rights should come responsibility - that part seems severely lacking.

Crazy that the China flu was man made, they pushed us to keep borders open and yet the media were reporting UK variant South Africa variant.
The scumbags at the CCP need to be taken down a peg - perfect example.

If we crave too much the peaceful life the fight comes to us. There's no perfect society but the zapas are an extremely poor and disenfranchised community who are masters of their own destiny - within the small area where they live.

I don't say that all they do is good but I like things like this "here the people command and the government obeys".

That's why I like them, don't know that much TBH it's not as though this stuff would be reported in the media.

Why is it such an extreme viewpoint that the people should command and the government obey, or that the preservation of nature should be a priority?

I have told you and sailnyssa to about RIG as what would be mutual aid. I respect your opinions and it's not necessary for us to agree.

Normally I don't do that because capitalists don't share they only take, until nothing is left.

It's interesting how many billionaires become "philanthropists" except their "philanthropy" is them deciding how everyone else should live and they love their money so much they can't bear to give it away.

But money is meaningless, I am better than most at this funny stock market arbitrage game and for me the point once I have enough for necessities is to choose my own future and allow others the same.

I won't have any trouble giving it away, to give other people freedom.

I don't think that's crazy at all, if only a few people of means did that, others would realise how much happier it makes them and the whole world would peacefully spin on it's axis to a better place. If far from some idealistic socialist utopia (which I don't subscribe to).

Or maybe not, people say it's impossible to beat the sharemarket but I can and I have next step is to give this a bloody good nudge. If people see it happen and all the elites have is propaganda - we have great freedom in our society - then it can be done.

Just need RIG to go to $40 first, I think people are starting to realise how short the oil market could be in coming years. Certainly compared to when I started this thread.

I am gonna sign out - all the best but these forums become a bit of a time suck for me. Don't wait for me to tell you to buy or sell - if the facts change on RIG I will change my mind and sell or I may take trading profits etc. Particularly how are the contracts negotiations on the two new-build? We would like to see those firm and are waiting an announcement to the market.

Probably just won't think to update this if I change my positions - responsibility for your investment decisions is on you.
