You may well be right and if I miss the boat then that is merely a missed trading opportunity. My thoughts are however that CDU will not be in a position to make large gains until it can prove that the resoruce statement seriously underestimates the actual resource. I don't think the bulk sampling will prove this to the satisfaction the institutions would require to take a bigger stake. I also can not see any of the expected announcements in February adding significant value.
Therefore I don't believe we will get much over the $4.50 mark (market cap of $700M) again until we start mining (late 2012) and can prove WM correct. Even with the EIS, mining licence, finance etc $700M market cap seems very well priced based on the current resource statement.
Therefore unless the stock sheds a lot of value which would make my time value appropriate to hold for a couple of years I will look to invest elsewhere for the next 18 months.
