Hi profit taker, not convinced on your DF assessment. I think Chinese or others will want to deal with the chairman and having a chairman who knows the true value of the business is very important. Perhaps new CEO has different set of skills to deliver on the next phase, perhaps DF was exhausted after a long building slog. I once heard him say that he had promised his wife that they wouldn't do any more takeovers so perhaps he is able to re connect with his family. I know what that is like and it's tough. Whatever the reason I am totally comfortable with the transition and where DF is now positioned in the governance arrangements. Perhaps he needs to be more statesmen like as the chairman so he will have to drop the fight like dogs line. All good. We all learn all the time. Just my thoughts. I remain overweight AGO and feel that we have bottomed for the next decade or close to it. Damo.
