The feeling is that there is a difference between Federal level politics and how normal people operate.
As with anywhere in the world - people are just wary about politics and politicians and their agendas, pretty much as a universal sentiment.
Morrison and Xi gov both just jockeying for positioning, grandstanding and playing politics as the saying goes.
There is no backlash seen at the UCM operating level in short, only goodwill that continues to build.
