Yes and No. All you need is enough shares to push the net balance each day negative.

So if $10 of trades positive and $8 negative you only need $3 to make the price direction that day negative.

Please be careful with total outstanding shorts as that is delayed data compared to the table.

Profit taking is probably some of it, however ORE (100%) is now being valued at 50% of the value on an EV / Resource to NMT (13.8% ownerships of their asset). Also ORE brine project does have cheaper production costs than that of NMT.

NMT 1,413/t (lithium metal equivalent)
ORE 702/t (lithium metal equivalent)

Should ORE be trading at a 50% discount?

I like ORE and what it has done. In my opinion it should be trading at the same valuation.

Hence the short % of daily traded volume on ORE.ASX vs NMT.ASX makes no sense to me.
