Because Tratramarina is BIF, straight away there is no such thing as small scale mining. It will need wet milling and mag sep, serious power to run ball mills, water, tailings dam all of which requires a lot of capital. Even though it’s only 16km from the coast, a conveyor and ship loading jetty will still cost at least $100million.

They say there might be some hematite on top which may or may not be DSO quality. Assuming that it is DSO quality, we would need to spend a few million to get the deposit to the same stage as Bekisopa. Both of these east coast tenements are green forest which is much less attractive than Bekisopa which is not forested.

If AKO were to raise the capital to get the east coast deposits up to the same stage as Bekisopa then this would dilute everyone by at least another 30% but there’s no guarantee that there is any DSO ore there. Spending money on deposits without DSO would be a death sentence for a little company like AKO.

I think they should concentrate solely on Bekisopa until it’s in production, then look at other deposits.
