Here is a starting point that is current.

Some policies are just rebadged others as there is only a few underwriters.

I notice a annual policy I have that has grandfathered conditions for me now has some things like 30 day trip limit, banned some action sports , some adventure activities are no longer listed . In the new annual replacement policy listed here no longer covers the domestic travel , has lower excess , no free related travel partner all in one policy. Quick price check and the new policy is nearly twice cost of my renewal. There is 30% rebate back to brokers, agents of 1st year premium I am told so. many professional organisations and insurance brokers are able to access large discounts for their clients and have slightly different conditions.

My annual policy costs me only 20% more than a single 20 day single trip policy would. It is about what you require and your circumstances in the end.

A key factor that has paid for itself is in my case is the cover regarding car accident excesses, excess reduction .. At car rental companies that is how they make their $ but with my annual policy I am covered for USD!0,000 cover so never take it out. A single trip with 10 days car rental pays my annual travel insurance and is a free carry for rest of year.
