Now, in the spirit of pirates and making loot and other Treasures Troved, I've got to opine that PA are likely to be the only ones really making loot here.
Sure, there'll be a bone or two to throw to the model litigants in the class, but the funders and the lawyers will take the bulk of the funds available.
Let's say, for the sake of round numbers, that they reckon that there's $40M or so that they can squeeze out of sunny Mediterranean climates; $15M for the funders, $15M for the lawyers, $5M for the costs (photocopying is so expensive), and $5M for the 10,000 mum's and dad's.
But for all of those numbers to work, they'd have to imagine that there'd be $40M somewhere, and somehow, I'm not sure that there is... Not unless they've found an insurer with deep pockets.
