    At least I have cited the basis for the embarrassment that any non
    rusted on can assess on the merits of that basis. All you can do is just
    go along with whatever your team puts up.

    Morrison was very uncomfortable by the end of the interview.
    IMO he realises he is trying to justify the unjustifiable and has been
    painted into a corner by whomever came up with the coalitions
    silly stance on negative gearing.

    It has been reported that Treasurer Morrison had been amenable to
    making changes to negative gearing but imo it looks like some others
    or someone has rolled him on that issue and now the poor guy has to trot out and defend the coalition line, that is, defend the indefensible. You only had
    to look at the frustration in his eyes and the un-confident smile on his face to
    realise the position he has been placed in.
