so in 5 years there has been a pandemic, runaway inflation and a housing crisis. Surely government has to be allowed to pivot and make decisions based on economic realities? coalition have shot themselves in the the foot with this one. imagine going to the next election with a promise to increase tax for the middle class to give the top end a tax cut! that's effectively what they have now committed themselves to doing. Dutton is a reactionary and doesn't stop to think.
