Labor inherited a $67b debt from the Coalition, and Labor left a $273b debt for the Coalition in September this year.
Labor added between $206 to $223b to the debt over their 6 years.
Hockey is talking about adding debt at a faster rate than Labor, and if Hockey's 2017 numbers of $440b are correct. By 2017 the Coalition would have contributed $217b to the total debt.
About the same as Labors contribution.
