I've recently come to the conclusion that the way things are going, Biota would have saved more lives in a bird flu pandemic selling fallout shelters than inventing Relenza. Tamiflu is a crap antiviral that should never have been approved to treat influenza A. That includes H1N1 and H5N1. When it's not creating resistant strains, it's prone to resistance in strains that already exist in the wild. The WHO and all the global health organisations are trying to hide the magnitude of their f**k up by pretending Tamiflu is dealing with bird flu. Any other antiviral like Relenza or maybe even peramivir would highlight the stockpile of steaming dog shit Tamiflu is. That's why the WHO doesn't dare use it.
That's why we need to build shelters NOW.
