I agree with you that many of the non-forestry investments are crap, such as some cattle farms. I reckon this might also be the underlining reason for ATO to scrap all of them.

But in doing so the ATO couldn’t distinguish the good ones from the bad. The good ones, such as the TIM almond project, are also victimized. I hope eventually ATO would keep the good ones.
