Of course, ask questions in a particular way and you can glean a little more info than you had prior but Tom was well aware of what he could and could not say.
These guys are human and to be honest, even if he'd slipped something out unintentionally, there's no way i'd repeat it here or anywhere else for that matter.
To be completely clear, my earlier post is my supposition alone and my discussion with Tom had no impact it.
