Thought it was ocean plankton that removed most of the CO2 anyway. All this shows is that we are being conned by pseudo science as researchers find new elements that may or may not be influential in global warming. If Kyoto (science) has got it wrong about trees what else has it got wrong? Indicates there is a lot more research to yet be done. There is still every chance that the minority scientific view (that GW is a natural phenomena) may be closer to the mark than the majority position.
In the mean time business would be silly to look a gift horse in the mouth,in terms of the billions that will acrue to industry in making fossil fuels CO2 clean. The major "polluters", meeting in Sydney, are thus quite happy to embrace the idea of human activity as a cause of global warming. Good for their pockets and their activities will keep the electors happy.
