I think one needs to be a bit careful when making comparisons between REA and IPP.

Things to consider
Most of REA's 1000%+ share price increase came from a very low base when sentiment was very negative toward all the dotcoms.
REA had (and still has) a much better share of the market with only 2 other major players at the time (one of those taken over by REA).

Don't get me wrong, IPP has good potential but they are going to require a large injection of capital if they want to grow and that will dilute the shares significantly in the medium term.
