The trick is to become an aggregator of services to the rental market
If RNT was able to arrange a house, removalist, change of address, change of utilities, insurance etc, I would be willing to pay a couple of hundred dollar for that just to get rid of the inconvenience of doing it all. RNT would then be able to get a good deal on all those things due to economies of scale as well as taking a % from removalists, insurance companies etc.
It then has the opportunity to do this on the landlord side too through tradies etc
They just need to execute
Greg Bader is doing a great job IMO after the founder of RNT blew up the business. Was a tough job to turn it around and he has made significant progress in doing so. I think it’s a buy at these levels but admit a bad quarterly will send this lower.
