I'm sorry I am not familar with IG Markets and Metatrader and the cycles plugins for these software. However,I've seen some really profitable trading systems using statistical cycles for forex as well in metatrader.

The plugin for metastock comes with 14 DLLs along with many pre-made templates and 4 premade trading systems that you can use at the click of a button.

As for "homemade" plugins, I understand that a forum member ("atlunch", perhaps?) is working on some plugins for IG Markets or some other similar software...?
